2026 Seoul Group Calendar | Write a New History of Light

Write a New History of Light

Seoul Semiconductor and Seoul Viosys (collectively, "Seoul Group") create an annual calendar exploring the science and technology of light and its impact on nature and human life.

Light is part of our everyday lives, yet it holds remarkable scientific insights and value that many people have yet to discover. Through our calendars, Seoul Group aims to make these fascinating stories of light accessible and engaging for everyone.

The 2026 calendar, "Write a New History of Light," goes beyond scientific discoveries to explore how optical semiconductor technologies are shaping the future of human life and industry.

From healthcare and circadian rhythms supported by natural light spectra and Violeds UV disinfection technology to AI optical communication, Micro LED-powered AR glasses and transparent displays, optogenetics, photonic quantum computing, and laser nuclear fusion, the calendar highlights the expanding applications and possibilities of light.

It also reflects Seoul Group's philosophy of protecting innovation through more than 30 years of optical semiconductor research and its patent portfolio, while promoting fair opportunities for future generations.

Seoul Group will continue to explore the possibilities of light and make the world cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful through light.
