2025 Seoul Group Calendar | The History of Light: Science Meets Art

The History of Light: Where Science Meets Art.

Seoul Semiconductor and Seoul Viosys (collectively, "Seoul Group") create an annual calendar exploring the science and technology of light and its impact on nature and human life.

Light is part of our everyday lives, yet it holds remarkable scientific insights and values that many people have yet to discover. Through our calendars, Seoul Group aims to make these fascinating stories of light accessible and engaging for everyone.

The 2025 calendar, "The History of Light: Science Meets Art," takes us on a journey through humanity's understanding of light, from the symbolism of the sun in ancient civilizations to the groundbreaking discoveries of Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Thomas Young, Maxwell, Einstein, and Schrödinger.

It also explores how artists such as Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Turner, Monet, Van Gogh, and Picasso used light and color to transform artistic expression, demonstrating how light has shaped not only scientific progress but also human culture, art, and ways of thinking.

Seoul Group will continue to explore the nature and potential of light, making the world cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful through light.
